Barrow Hill – Bricks in the Roundhouse

Our team had a good day at Chasewater on 1st August, so we are off to exhibit at Barrow Hill Roundhouse next Saturday 29th August and Sunday 30th August.  It’s all about railway stuff and Lego stuff, we aren’t sure about the latter but maybe some of you out there can help us old codgers.  Barrow Hill is always worth a visit, with or without Lego so do please come if you can.  We will be very pleased to meet you and talk locomotives with you.  Of course our focus is on No 2013 Prince George and the build progress.

Sadly, our design work on the cylinders has come to a shuddering halt as our Engineer’s computer says no; it can’t cope with the complexity of the CAD model.  It should only be a week or two till it is upgraded with yet more memory and possibly a graphics card.  September should see real progress on both design and assembly.
