September Newsletter published

It includes the news that our order for the motion plate and frame stretcher is now live, and we are seeking prices for the dragbox and for drilling of the front frames.  These items set us up for frame assembly, traditionally regarding as the start of the building process.

Today, Tuesday 17th August we had the Main Line Steam Builders Group meeting with Ricardo, covering generic hazard identification for steam locomotives and supplier experience.  It’s all part of the work necessary for Acceptance on the main line, so we are making progress on that as well as on the physical construction of the locomotive.
