Preparing for the big job

Jamie has made a set of 6 frame stands for use during frame assembly.  A lick of paint is all they need now, a first coat would have been applied today but local traffic was so bad that it was more sensible to leave it till another day.

The adjuster nut is M48, for which we need a 75mm spanner.  This is not found in the average tool box, and one reputable manufacturer’s website quoted £682.  In accordance with the spirit of Sir Richard Moon we found one for a twentieth of that price!

We look forward to putting the stands to good use during May and June.  Everything for Frame Assembly should be to hand in a week or two.
