Meeting with Great Central Railway Leicester Area Supporters Group

Last night, Friday 11th October, I had the pleasure of meeting about 30 of the local Great Central Supporters at Quorn near Loughborough.  It was to present a talk on ‘Prince George’  and spread the word about our progress.  They were a good audience, and it was good to talk to them.  They were all committed to our railway heritage and we we wish them every success with their bold project to re-unite the north  and south ends of the line.

They were kind enough to make a donation to our funds, and best of all they supplied tea and biscuits at the break, alongside good conversation.
