Hornblocks Ordered

The order for our cast steel hornblocks shown below has been placed with Trefoil of Sheffield.  Manufacture will be in three stages: making the patterns for the moulds, casting the metal and machining the castings to produce the finished items. Total weight will be about half a ton, and delivery will probably be late January or early February. This is the biggest financial commitment to date, and thanks to the generosity of our Members and donors we have been able to place the order with confidence.  Please consider making a donation, the continuing progress after frame assembly depends on it.

We have also been busy with displays, attending the very busy Barrow Hill Gala on Saturday.  If anyone can help with these events, please volunteer.  You will meet a lot of very decent people amongst the organisers and the visitors are great.  Don’t be shy, come and join jus!
