The TCL Seal open day at Sheffield was very busy today, with several hundred visitors.  Our newly completed dragbox provided a talking point, as a good example of how we have adapted an original 1910 production cast iron design as a one-off welded fabrication for manufacture in today’s world.  With good numbers of people coming in we were kept busy  Quite a few weren’t aware of our project and it was good to be able to update them .

It was good to see our friends from the Clan, B17 and GCR 567 projects as well as a number of model engineers’ groups and railway modellers.

It was a very good day.  Our thanks to TCLSeal and the Clan/Hengist organisers for their work and letting us shows our wares.
