Buffer Brackets Delivered

Delivery of parts for our full frame assembly continues with the two front buffer beam brackets made by CTL Seal.  The LNWR version was a steel casting and because we only needed one right and one left hand version we couldn’t justify the pattern-making cost.  CTL Seal have made these as welded steel fabrications, with some minor alterations to suit the present day reduced buffer height.

Other parts are in the pipeline, but our focus for now is on our display for The Greatest Gathering at Alstom Derby, just 15 days away.
