AGM

Our AGM was held last Saturday, 22nd March.  As there were no nominations for Chairman or Treasurer, both these posts were left vacant.  Derek Buckles will continue as Acting Chairman until a new Chairman can be found, and Terry McMenamin will continue as Acting Secretary for the time being.  We really do need volunteers for these posts, and it’s much better if we can act as buddy for a changeover period.  Please consider volunteering.

Finances are healthy, but we do have open orders for about £23k including VAT, and the invoices can be expected soon.  We also need an estimated £15k -£16k for this year’s frame assembly, and we need to raise extra funds for that.

Our team is now working on its forthcoming public events, at TCL Seal Sheffield where we join the Clan, B17 and GCR 567 projects on their open day, 12th April.  We will also be at the Greatest Gathering event, at Alstom’s Litchurch Lane Works Derby, part of the Rail200 celebrations.  There will be more on those events very shortly.  If there is sufficient interest we will plan our own open day too.
